Options for Replacing Missing Teeth
Although your teeth were designed to last a lifetime, it is common to need dental treatment to restore them from time to time. Whether your teeth have been damaged due to accidental injury, poor oral hygiene, or other factors, we offer options in restorative dentistry to restore the health, function and appearance of your smile.

Restorative dentistry can address both the aesthetics of your smile and your dental health. There are procedures that repair and/or treat decaying teeth, missing teeth, misaligned teeth, discolored teeth, and more.

At Rochester Dental Aesthetics, we offer the latest in restorative treatments and technologies to help restore your smile.

Crowns for Dental Implants
Replacing missing teeth with implants brings your mouth back to full function and well-being. Stunning porcelains replicate natural teeth perfectly, whether it’s one or more absent teeth. Single crowns or complex bridges can be supported by implants, with solutions for every scenario.
Dental Bridges
Dental bridges have traditionally been a top choice for replacing missing teeth. They remain an excellent option for restorative dentistry, and technology for dental bridges advances on a regular basis. More options are now available to bridge gaps in your smile. Aesthetic, customized porcelains engineered into a bridge can be designed to eliminate spaces of every size.
Full & Partial Dentures
Sometimes a removable appliance is the best way to replace missing teeth. Whether a partial denture or a complete denture would restore your mouth to more optimal function and appearance, there’s a design that will work for you. Dental implants frequently combine with dentures for unprecedented stability and confidence.

Tooth Pain & Endodontic Treatment

Tooth pain should never be ignored. It is an indication that something is seriously wrong with your oral health and a symptom of a greater issue, such as a damaged, decayed, or infected tooth.

The most important aspect of any type of dental discomfort is finding the source of the pain. Knowing what is causing your tooth pain allows you to receive proper treatment. Without intervention, your pain will only get worse. Any type of infection or decay can easily spread throughout the entire mouth, causing more significant issues.

The dental team at Rochester Dental Aesthetics is dedicated to providing you with comfortable and complete dental care. We offer treatment for cracked or damaged teeth, root canal therapy, and more.

Our professionals will treat the issue and restore your oral health. Please do not ignore your tooth pain. Call our Rochester Hills dental office today.

Root Canal Treatment at Our Rochester Hills Dental Office

Root canal treatment is a surgical procedure that clears diseased tissue from the root of a tooth. During this procedure, the endodontist removes the inflamed or infected pulp, cleans and shapes the inside of the root canal, and seals the space.

After the procedure is completed, a dental impression is typically taken. That impression will be used to create a dental crown to protect and restore the tooth to its full function.

A root canal procedure and subsequent dental crown placement usually require two appointments.

Treatment for Abscessed Teeth

It’s important to get abscessed teeth treated as soon as possible. Left untreated, abscesses can have a negative impact on your overall health, including your heart health.

An abscess is a pocket of pus that results from a tooth infection. The pockets typically form at the root of the tooth or on the gums beside that root. Abscessed teeth can be treated by draining the area, a root canal, or tooth extraction. It may also require the use of prescription antibiotics.

In many cases, abscesses occur in teeth that have already had a root canal, so patients often do not feel the associated pain. Instead, they come in to ask why a “bubble has formed” on the gum.

This is one of many reasons why it’s important to visit the dentist twice a year for routine cleanings and exams. When you do come in, we can recognize issues in your teeth that you may not, especially through dental X-rays and visual examinations.

If you need any of these restorative or endodontic dental procedures, call us today to make an appointment to see our dentist in West Bloomfield.
